Pantelidis attended Salesian College from Years 7–11 and Bentleigh Secondary College in year 12 and was reportedly a keen football player who showed plenty of potential competing against other schools.
Pantelidis also played for Melbourne Knights until the closure of the old National Soccer League competition in 2004. Between the end of the National Soccer League and start of the subsequent A-League, Pantelidis played Victorian Premier League with Heidelberg United before he was signed for Melbourne Victory to be part of their inaugural squad.
On December 3, 2008 he was signed by Gold Coast United for their inaugural A-league campaign.[1][2][3]
On February 7, 2011 he joined Liga Primer Indonesia outfit Bintang Medan on a two year deal,[4] but left on October 14 of the same year to join Perth Glory.[5]
